MOSCOW BUDO ACADEMY 2015

On 8 February 2015 at the Kodokan Martial Arts Center in Moscow, located in front of the Kremlin, was held the 16th Budo Academy involving about 80 instructors and fighters of various sports and martial arts. A judo training session was led by Shihan Sergey Kosorotov (8th dan judo), Kyokushin training - Shihan Andre Drewniak (8th Dan Kyokushin), jujitsu training - Shihan Tair Narimanov (8th dan Jujitsu) and Shotokan training - Shihan Igor Sadovnikov (6th dan karate). At the end of the Academy Shihan Andre Drewniak handed in certificates to four Kyokushin participants who passed the 2nd and 3rd dan exam as well as commemorative calendars to all leading instructors. Later Shihan Sergey Kosorotov demonstrated the ability to bend a 15-centimeter-long nails and asked Shihan Andre Drewniak to sign his name and leave a comment in the visitors' book. Then Shihan invited all the participants to a Sayonara party where interviews were held by the media.

MOSCOW KWF SEMINAR 2015

On 6-8 February 2015 KWF seminar was held at the Hall of Budoshinkai Club in Moscow. 69 participants from 12 Russia regions, including nearly 30 instructors and fighters (1st to 5th dan), took part in this event. Training sessions and exam were conducted by Shihan Andre Drewniak, the seminar program was prepared by the Chairman of the Russian Kyokushin Federation Shihan Sergiey Soldatov, who at the Seminar was assisted by board members sensei Aleksandr Nesterov (St. Petersburg) and sensei Ruslan Hismatulin (Chelyabinsk). The seminar program was designed to standardize techniques as well as update training and refereeing methodology. During the seminar the local TV held an interview and made a video of training elements. At the meeting the leaders and instructors, with the participation of Russia CR Sergiey Suvorov, discussed how to coordinate the development of KWF and KWU programs in Russia, Europe and worldwide. The second seminar is planned to be held in Moscow, where will be invited leaders from more than 40 regions in which operate KWF clubs. The organizer of the seminar was the Budoshinkai Moscow Club run by the Moscow KWF leader Shihan Mikhail Kokin.

MITSUMINE KYOKUSHIN CAMP 2014

On 4-6 November 2014 at the premises of the Mitsumine Shrine and Hotel Complex was held Kyokushin Camp in which took part about 150 participants from near 20 countries.  Training sessions were led by Vice  President shihan Antonio Pinero (8 dan). Training sessions were held four times a day according to a training program prepared by President shihan Loek Hollander (9 dan) aimed at giving supplementary training to branch representatives and instructors. Shihan Andre Drewniak, shihan Lars Hogquist, shihan Bertrand Kron and shihan Noriyuki Tanaka were present at all trainings and meetings.

On 5 November was held a 4-hour exam on kyu and dan.   All the exam participants took part in a 90-minute kumite and farewell meeting during which they were awarded certificates for kyu and dan.

The camp was finished by the prayer ceremony in the Main Shrine for sosai Mas. Oyama and photo session under waterfall.

THE FIRST KWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TOKYO 2014

0n 3 November 2014 in Tokyo - Chiba were held the First KWF World Championship with a number of 534 competitors from 28 countries.

President the Kyokushin World Federation shihan Loek Hollander (Holland) made the official opening of the championship.

Among the invited guests were: Vice President shihan Antonio Pinero (Spain), Vice President shihan Hristo Traikov (Bulgaria) , General Secretary shihan Andre Drewniak (Poland), Treasurer shihan Lars Hogquist (Norway), Member shihan Bertrand Kron (France) and Country Representative of Japan shihan Noriyuki Tanaka.

Competition preceded the International referee seminar with the participation of 36 national judges. Main referee was shihan Antonio Pinero.

The technical referee was shihan Fernando Perez (Spain).

The championship was finished by solemn Sayonara.

Organizer of championship was the Japanese Kyokushin Federation led by shihan Noriyuki Tanaka.

INTERNATIONAL KYOKUSHIN KARATE TOURNAMENT SIERADZ- POLAND 4 OCTOBER 2014

About 300 competitors from six countries has decided to take a particitation in International Tournamet Presidents Cup in Sieradz. The place of the competition was gym hall in School nr 10. Main judge was shihan Andre Drewniak. First time this tournament has assembled so big group of participants from so many countries. On tatami we could see competitors from Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia, Ukraina  and Poland, including the champions of the Europe. - I am very satisfacted with so great interesting of our tournament. Almost 300 participants has given a confirmation, that tournament in our city it is a real trade mark in the world of Kyokushin. - say Robert Wajgelt, a head of the Kyokushin Club from Sieradz and main promoter of championships and which has preparated for the karateka diploms, medals and others awards. We must to emphasize on fact. That from Russia cam to Poland a big and strong team of 21 fighters. - It is a great tournament. I am personally in Sieradz 3-th time, an I am sure bring to my country a lot of very good impressions. In Russia Kyokushin is a very popular style - we have clubs in a lot of cities - punctuated Witalij from Baltijsk.

Sensei Wajgelt invited all karateka just now to the next tournament in the 2015 Year!
