　　　　　On May 27 in Barcelona (Spain) The 20th European Weight Category Championships took place with participation of 142 competitors from 22 countries. Approximately 900 spectators gathered in the sport hall. The honourable guest of the championships were: Kancho Shokei Matsui, shihan Katsuhito Gorai and Shihan Loek Hollander. Main judge was shihan Antonio Pinero (7 dan).
　　　　　Organiser of the championships was Spanish Kyokushin Karate Organization led by shihan Antonio Pinero.
