On 18 February 2015, in the Hall of Martial Arts at Polish YMCA Krakow, Shihan Lesław Samitowski from Chicago held a three-hour seminar on techniques and kata. The seminar was attended by sixty Branch Chiefs, instructors and fighters from KWF branches. Shihan Samitowski conducted a half-hour full-contact warm-up and during the main part he shared his knowledge about unknown in Poland training elements borrowed from the Chinese Shaolin which are based on energy flow, and then he showed the interpretation of selected elements of bunkai kata. The final part of the seminar was devoted to dynamic fighting combinations. Shihan Samitowski was applauded by the participants at the end of his presentation. In the view of this seminar, Shihan considers coming back to take part in the Seminar on April 11 and the Summer Camp in Krakow. During the seminar, Shihan Samitowski answered many questions about the methodology, map energy flows, the interpretation of difficult concepts, self-defense etc. The seminar was highly appreciated by all senseis.
